Question: How do I access the property?

Answer:The Edwardsville and Litchfield location offer a numerical keypad system that allows a code to be entered to access the facilities.  Collinsville offers a similar keypad system that uses a badge card system to access the gate.  All three locations offer a 24 hour gate access system.  Once you receive your code or badge card you will be able to enter the facilities whenever you need to.  For more information on accessing, contact the desired facility numbers can be found on the contact page.

Question: Does Mini Storage offer climate controlled storage units?

Answer:Metro East Mini Storage offers climate controlled units at the Edwardsville Location.  These units are ideal for protecting personal items that you want to protect from heat, humidity and damp conditions. Climate control helps to reduce rusting and buildup of mildew and mold on your most valued possessions.  Sizes include 5X10 and 10X10.

Question: Do you provide a lock or should we bring one?

Answer:If you are renting a unit from the Collinsville you will need to bring a log with you at time of rental.  The Litchfield location has a kiosk that will dispense locks if needed.  All units at Litchfield will also require a lock except for the large units with the power lift doors.  Those units will have a key that will be provided to access the unit.  If renting from the Edwardsville location we will provide you with a lock that will be part of a lock and latch system.  More information can be found on the individual location pages.

Question: How do I make a payment?

Answer:Payments can be made online, by check, credit card, or on site.  Click on the pay now option at the top of the site to get a facility specific way to pay.  If you need more information please give us a call at the number provided for that location.
